Humanitarian Art

Caroline sees herself as a development artist and champions artists, who, unlike war-artists, shine a spotlight on positive, humanitarian interventions.  She is artist-in-residence at the Humanitarian Centre (see her piece “Cambridge votes to save artist from the apocalypse” in the World Bank). She also regularly donates a percentage of any sales to charities she supports including: World Bicycle Relief, The Rory Peck Trust and Oxfam (Syria Crisis Campaign). Below are some examples of her growing collection – many of which are made using sustainable materials – such as painting on old pizza boxes!
